6th December - Daisy and Stevie at Sanpas

On the 6th Day of Christmas Woky Advent gave to me, Spanish food and a medley of pop songs.

Sanpa's Spanish Food store welcomed local ladies Daisy and Stevie to perform for this years Wokingham Living Advent Calendar. Daisy and Stevie's medley of songs included covers of "Fever" and more modern pop songs by Jessie J and others.

When Daisy & Stevie first met, their relationship was based on a mutual love of all things musical.  They have been singing both as solo artists and as a duet now for many years; their voices blending seemlessly together.  With their hectic jobs, singing is something that usually occurs in the shower or around the home.  This Christmas they are taking to the streets of Wokingham!  Please enjoy their harmonious acapella medley of songs, both old and new.

One of the few performances inside, Sanpa's rang to their harmonies and I think the ladies and audience were glad to be inside on such a chilly night.

Here are a selection of photos from last night.

Sanpa's serves all manner of Spanish food, both as a delicatessen but also as a restaurant serving Spanish dishes with high quality personally sourced produce.

Sanpa's have only recently moved to their new location nearer the Town Hall on Peach Street, but are doing a roaring trade. Only moments after the performance finished there was a party due in.

We hope you will join us tonight at The Local Barber Shop, in Montague House, off Broad Street for another surprise performance.
