The festive spirit was in full force last night with a
fantastic performance by two young ladies from Cloudglider at Kaanaanmaa’s
Jewellers on Denmark Street. Christina arrived in the UK earlier this year with
only a smattering of English. Roll forward and she can be heard out and about
singing at various events and open mic nights She has just been signed up to
sing at a charity fashion show in 2015
and is definitely one to watch for the future. Christina performed a number of
songs including “Silent Night” and “Silver Bells”.
Caz Hill is in high demand both as a soloist and as the lead
singer of the band "All Cramped Up". She has trained with Elisa
Ghoebriel from Cloudglider for several years. Caz performed a number of songs
including “Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree”, “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas”
and a medley including” I wish I could be Christmas every day” and “Do they know
it’s Christmas”.
At Cloudglider,
singers learn their art. Cloudglider can provide anything from solo singers
through to a fully staged production. To date we have performed at events
including charity balls, gala fashion shows, all kinds of festivals, weddings, wedding receptions, pub charity
nights and also themed events including nights at the theatre, nights at the
movies, rat pack, 70s, divas and Christmas.
